Bred for a lifetime
Far more important to us than color is our emphasis on structure and beauty, temperament, and health. Here is how we hold ourselves to that.
AKC Registered
Every puppy goes home with limited AKC registration.
DNA Health Tested
Parents are DNA tested for genetic diseases before any pairing.
Health-Tested Pedigrees
Long, health-tested generational pedigrees behind every pairing.
Two-Year Health Guarantee
Every pup is covered from the day they go home.
Careful selection, proven health
We approach breeding in a very professional manner, beginning with the careful selection of parents in order to ensure health. This includes testing DNA for genetic diseases and studying pedigrees the world over to create the look and type we want in our puppies. Only after careful selection do we move forward with a breeding.
Our dogs come from some of the most famous and beautiful Labrador lines in the world — champions from Poland, Ukraine, Serbia, and Kazakhstan — with health testing done in both Europe and the US. Sires like our International Champion Polar carry clearances including OFA or OFA equivalent hips HD-A (Excellent), elbows ED 0/0, and clear PRA-prcd and EIC results.
Watched over from day one
To ensure pregnancy and maximize puppy count, we monitor progesterone once our moms are in season. At four weeks we do an ultrasound to confirm pregnancy and get a rough puppy count, and a couple of days before the due date we run an x-ray for a more accurate picture. With very small litters, extremely large litters, or unusually big puppies, a c-section may be necessary — and when it isn't, careful attentiveness (and, more often than not, an all-nighter) is mandatory.
Then come eight weeks of precious, exhausting, wonderful puppy care, with health, cleanliness, and socialization as our top priorities — our puppy feeders, pen cleaners, socializers, and photographers are all built into our family.
The two-year guarantee
Only after receiving their first round of shots and dewormer, a vet check, a clean bill of health, and reaching a minimum of eight weeks of age is a puppy ready to go home. Every pup leaves with a copy of their official vet record and the vaccination and deworming records we keep ourselves.
All of our puppies go home covered by our two-year health guarantee — and we remain available to answer questions and address concerns long after your puppy has joined your family. Pictures and puppy updates are ALWAYS welcome!
The English type, done right
We breed the show-type, blocky-head "English" Labrador: stocky build, wide heads, thick always-wagging otter tails, dense double coats, and the calm, even temperament the English Lab is famous for. Gentle in the living room, eager for the ball and the water at a moment's notice.
We think you would be hard-pressed to find a better structured, higher quality Lab throughout the United States, and the world over, than the puppies produced here. They really are the Happiest Labs.
