Good grief! Meet Kovu!

We were incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to use this outstanding foreign sire with our Deedee, and one look at Kovu explains exactly why we were so excited.

Kovu is everything we admire in a classic English Labrador. He is an absolutely massive male with an incredible presence that immediately captures your attention. His broad, masculine head, deep muzzle, powerful neck, beautiful forechest, and short, strong body are exactly the qualities breeders around the world work hard to produce in their program. Despite his impressive size, he remains balanced and athletic, moving with the effortless power expected of a Labrador Retriever.

His rich, jet-black coat, thick "otter" tail, beautiful feet, and soft, kind expression complete the picture of an exceptional stud dog.

Kovu is already a Champion and has passed an extensive list of health clearances, including DNA testing along with hips, elbows, heart, and eye certifications, giving us tremendous confidence in the quality and soundness he passes on to his offspring.

Kovu's sire is Gallivant Black Russian, one of the most esteemed Labradors in the community, which largely explains so much of his good looks, disposition, and health.

We are thrilled to have incorporated Kovu into our breeding program through his breeding to Deedee. We believe this exceptional pairing combines world-class structure, outstanding health, and the classic English Labrador type that we work so hard to preserve. We look forward to keeping at least one pup back from this pairing for our program!
